Portable Folding Coat Racks are perfect for party and event rental companies as they’re foldable and easy to store and transport to customers. While not a lot of assembly is required, there is still a few pieces to put together in order to begin using the Folding Coat Rack. Here’s how to assemble a Portable Garment Rack:

What you should receive:

• (1x) Folding Coat Rack Base
• (1x) Folding Coat Rack Top Closet Rod

No Tools Required. Recommend having two people to set it up

Approximate Assembly time: ~ 2 minutes

1. Check to make sure all parts are accounted for. Below is what the portable folding coat rack will look like immediately after taking it out of the box. (see picture below). The coat rack ships folded to optimize shipping costs.

2. Remove the Folding Coat Rack Top Closet Rod from its housing by grabbing the Folding Coat Rack Top Closet Rod and pulling up. It is held in place to the Folding Coat Rack Base by two clips.

3. Remove protective plastic from Folding Coat Rack Top Closet Rod.

4. The two poles are held in place folded against the Folding Coat Rack Base by short 1inch metal pieces on opposite pole. Grasp the bottom pole at the end and pull the pole towards you until it clears the short 1 inch metal piece. Then place the bottom pole on top of the metal piece.

5. Doing the same thing as above, this time on the left side, grab the bottom pole at the end and push away from you until it clears the 1 inch metal piece. Then place the pole on top of the metal piece.

6. Here’s where a 2nd person comes in handy – one person should then raise the poles vertically (like so below) and hold them in place.

7. Then the second person puts the Folding Coat Rack Top Closet Rod and connects it onto the two poles.

8. Finally, on each side, there is a button that can be pushed to raise and lower the height of the folding coat rack – depending on what length of garment you will be hanging.

Unfortunately, due to the size of our 4ft rectangle plastic folding table and 5ft rectangle plastic folding table, the table is too small to be adequately supported on a rectangle table dolly. If you're transporting 6ft rectangle plastic folding tables, you can fit 19 tables in the rectangle table cart. If you're transporting 8ft plastic folding tables, you can fit 16 tables in the rectangle table cart.

How many Wood Rectangle Banquet Tables fit in a Rectangle Table Dolly?

We stock 4ft rectangle wood folding tables, 6ft rectangle wood folding tables, and 8ft rectangle wood folding tables. Again, same as the plastic folding tables, 4ft rectangle wood folding tables cannot be transported in the cart for the same reason as mentioned above. If you're transporting 6ft wood folding tables, you can fit 13 tables in the rectangle table cart. If you're transporting 8ft rectangle wood folding tables, you can fit 13 tables in the rectangle table cart.

How many Rhino Plastic Rectangle Banquet Tables Fit in a Rectangle Table Dolly?

We stock 6ft rhino plastic rectangle folding tables and 8ft rhino plastic rectangle folding tables. Because these are of similar quality to a Mity-Lite ABS table, they're thicker than the traditional plastic folding table. If you're transporting 6ft rhino plastic rectangle folding tables, you can fit 13 tables in the rectangle table cart. If you're transporting 8ft rhino plastic rectangle folding tables, you can fit 13 tables in the rectangle table cart.

Being an event venue or party rental company means hundreds upon hundreds of plastic folding chairs around at any given time if they’re not already in use. One of the main issues with folding chairs is finding the proper folding chair storage in order to ensure your facility is organized and your product is readily available to transport either to another room or into your trucks at a moment’s notice. With the need for ample storage, one of the questions we often get asked is:

How do you recommend storing folding chairs?

There are 3 different ways to store folding chairs, which tend to be dependent on storage space and how the folding chairs will be used. Check them out below:

Folding Chair Cart (also known as a Folding Chair Dolly)

Folding chair carts are available in regular wheel formats and airless wheel formats. Carts with regular wheels allow easy transport on hard surfaces such as concrete or pavement however they can present a challenge when stacked full of chairs and someone attempts to roll them across the grass. Because of the hardness of the wheel they tend to sink into the grass when rolled across it – making it a pain in the derriere if you’re a party rental company attempting to drop off chair carts on grass. The folding chair cart with airless wheels solves this problem by easily allowing a smooth transition between hard and soft surfaces. Both carts hold up to 70 chairs and are best for companies who need to transport their chairs but don’t have a large floor space to store them as they take up more space vertically than width and depth wise.

Folding Chair Racking:

Folding chair racking are designed for large party rental companies who need racking systems to stack up to 150 plastic folding chairs per rack unit. Companies can stack up to three racking units (one on top of the other), manoeuver them with forklifts from the warehouse to trucks and then from trucks to site via caster wheels.

Hanging Folding Chair Dolly:

The hanging folding chair dolly is used in schools and party rental companies to save on floor space. It features two rows of chairs with three chair stacks per row. They also have wheels and hold between 56 – 84 chairs.

Since each method is a matter of personal preference we don’t tend to state whether we feel one option is better than the other. There are party rental companies who swear by folding chair racks and those that swear by folding table carts / dollies. It also depends on the number of folding chairs you plan on having in inventory at any one given time and the type of events you service. Chiavari Chair dollies are the easiest way to transport stacks of Chiavari chairs on and off of rental trucks and across event venue floors. While not a lot of assembly is required, there is still a few pieces to put together in order to begin using the Chiavari chair dolly. Here’s how to assemble a Chiavari chair cart:

What you should receive:

• (2x) Wheels
• (1x) Chiavari Chair Cart
• (1x) Axle
• (2x) Washers (*Note: not all carts will require both or any washers; the washers simply fill the extra space to prevent the wheels from traveling too much on the axle. The chiavari chair cart will still work effectively without them so use at your discretion.*)
• (2x) Cotter Pins

Tools Required (not included):

• Pliers
• Rubber Mallet

1. Check to make sure all parts are accounted for. The axle, cotter pins and washers should be taped to the Chiavari chair dolly (see picture below).

2. Take axle off the hand truck and flip the chiavari chair cart over so the axle holes are facing up.

3. Remove 1 of the cotter pins using the pliers and then both washers from the axle.

4. Slide the end of axle without the cotter pin through one wheel (air valve facing out).

5. Place washer after the wheel (if required).

6. Thread axle through the holes of the Chiavari chair cart near the bottom of the cart. If necessary, use a rubber mallet to hammer the axle through the holes.

7. Place second washer on axle without wheel (if required).

8. Put on second wheel (air valve facing away from washer).

9. Slide cotter pin in place and use pliers to bend one arm of the cotter pin.

10. Pull down Chiavari Chair shelf.

Congratulations! You’re ready to start transporting your Chiavari chairs.
