One of the most common questions that we get asked at National Event Supply is how long will it take to get my order? This of course varies dramatically by your location relative to where the order is shipping from as well as the shipping method. Since the shipping method can have such a huge impact on the delivery time, today I am going to provide you with a guideline for our most cost effective LTL (less than truckload) shipments. This is the most common method that we use when you purchase many of our larger products including plastic folding tables, plastic folding chairs, wood folding tables, resin folding chairs, Chiavari chairs, and when you place a larger order for porcelain. It is additionally important to remember that major centers enjoy faster delivery than most secondary points, especially if our carrier needs to hand the shipment off to a smaller local carrier. When our carrier needs to do a hand-off it will take a minimum of 1 additional business day before the order is delivered to your location by the local carrier. It is additionally important to note that these are estimates only and delivery can be effective by factors outside of our control like the weather.

Our last three stress test videos have focused on our wood and plastic rectangular tables. We've seen how much weight it has taken to overstress a 6-ft rectangular plastic folding table, an 8-ft rectangular plastic folding table, and an 8-ft rectangular wood folding table. Today, we're going to take a look at our NES Reliable Folding Bar Chair. Our folding bar chairs are made of the same material as our NES Reliable Plastic Folding Chairs which we overstressed and endurance tested. Have you ever seen those wedding pictures where the guests are eating on what looks like a dining room table, cover with a table cloth with beautiful center pieces spread along the table? Of course you have because they look fantastic! Some of them may even be featured on your very own website. While big and bulky these tables continue to grow in popularity for use in weddings and special events.

We know we’ve been talking about summer for a while here at National Event Supply, but can you blame us? Summer is filled with sunshine, nights spent sipping drinks on the patio enjoying a cool summer’s breeze, and spending weekends at a friend’s cabin on a lake. Summer is all about the outdoor event, and although the spring buying season is winding down, we’re still receiving new products and new stock at our Vancouver and Toronto warehouses.

This week we received a shipment of our fantastic resin Chiavari chairs, crystal Chiavari chairs, and Chiavari chair cushions at our Toronto Warehouse. We’ve written about our Chiavari chairs in the past, providing a little bit of history into the design of the chair and explaining why we think our Resin Chiavari chairs are incredible. We’ve also shown how strong our chairs really are, and shown you one of Dennis’ trade show tricks.

On the resin Chiavari chair side of things, we have a fairly good supply of black Chiavari chairs, mahogany Chiavari chairs, silver Chiavari chairs, and white Chiavari chairs. We will also be receiving an additional container of Chiavari chairs the fourth week of July which should replenish our stock of gold Chiavari chairs. All of our Chiavari chairs ship from our Toronto warehouse to locations across North America and come with a two year warranty against material and manufacturing defects.

On the Chiavari cushion side of things, we have lots of fabric cushions in black, white, or ivory in stock. We also have vinyl cushions in black, white, and ivory in stock as well as plywood-base cushions available in black and ivory. The fabric and vinyl Chiavari chair cushions all feature Velcro ties, while the plywood base cushions attach to the chairs with Velcro strips. If your cushions are beginning to look a little beat up or tired, now is the perfect opportunity to make your chairs look like new!

From the very beginning we have been asked if it is possible to pick up an order at our warehouse in Delta, British Columbia. Since it is not a National Event Supply operated warehouse, it is not possible for you to go to the warehouse to look at and to purchase products that you may be interested in. All orders must be placed with a National Event Supply representative at least 24 hours prior to pick up. In addition, Locher Evers is only open for pick-ups Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. We do however stock a wide variety of the Tables and Chairs that you see on our website and in our catalogue. If you are interested in a product, please don’t hesitate to ask us about it.
