Here at National Event Supply, we are on a mission. A mission to provide high quality event equipment at fair prices. When we first decided that this was the strategy we were going to take to market, we asked ourselves how we could show potential customers that our products were durable and sourced on quality rather than the lowest cost. We found out how to show people their quality by performing our own stress tests in house and since then we’ve completed over 20 videos on different products we sell.

Today’s post is on our new dark fruitwood wood Chiavari chairs. We wanted to see how they fared when subjected to hundreds of pounds of salt to see if they were a high-quality product for the rental industry to own. We’ve tested our resin Chiavari chairs by walking a 225lb man across the back of one, without breaking. How would wooden Chiavari chairs fare to a stress test? Find out in the video below.

Continuing our strength testing series, we recently released new videos on how strong a 6ft wood rectangle folding table is and how strong a lifetime 8ft folding table is. If you’re new to our stress test videos here’s how they work: we take 44lb / 20kg bags of salt and pile them on top of our folding tables and event chairs and see how strong they are (and how many bags of salt it takes until they collapse). Today’s video showcases the strength of our wood 48 inch round folding tables.

This video was a huge surprise to us. We thought given the other videos we’ve done that this table would break at 700Lbs – we had no idea what it would actually break at and it thoroughly surprised us.

Over the past several years we have been making videos where we stress tables and chairs to the breaking point. We've tested many different tables including our 6-ft NES Reliable Rectangular Plastic Folding Table, 8-ft NES Reliable Rectangular Plastic Folding Table, 60 inch NES Reliable Round Plastic Folding Table, and even the 6-ft Lifetime Commercial Plastic Folding Table. This year we are continuing our tests to help show you the strength of our products as compared to industry leaders like Lifetime Products.

Today we're going to be putting an 8 foot Lifetime Table to the test. Lifetime manufactures and sells tables, chairs, and a host of other products for consumer and commercial use. In our case we are going to test one of their commercial products being the Lifetime 8-foot commercial plastic folding table and comparing it to our NES Reliable 8-foot Rectangular Plastic Folding Table. On paper, the Lifetime Table looks to be the stronger table as it is rated for 2000 pounds of weight evenly distributed across the top, while our NES Reliable 8-foot Rectangular Plastic Folding Table is only rated for 800 pounds. However, in a previous stress test, the NES Reliable 8-foot Rectangular Plastic Folding Table managed to hold over 1890 pounds before failing. How will the Lifetime commercial folding table stack up against our 8-foot commercial plastic folding table? Let's find out!

We often get asked how strong our tables are. Everyone is scared of getting a table that's not strong enough or that will collapse in a strong breeze. In the past, we've stress tested our plastic folding tables, showing what it takes to break a 6-ft Rectangular Plastic Folding Table, an 8-ft rectangular plastic folding table, and a 60-inch Round plastic folding table. Unfortunately, after stress testing our 8-ft wood folding table, last year's winter got really bad and we had to use our road salt to melt ice instead of breaking wood tables. But winter's back again, we've got a couple of skids of salt, and a desire to stress some tables!
